It’s difficult to pick out a single favorite memory with Adele, as she’s taught me so much and has always made me feel so welcome. There are so many conversations that always made me feel ”seen” and understood, from difficult family relationships to my own internal struggles and the journey of motherhood. I absolutely loved watching her with Luka and Niko, who felt so comfortable around her. She was always attentive and made sure to plant little seeds in their minds whenever she was with them - “manners box”, Niko’s love of containers, dinosaur cookies, stretchy strong men and splash pad visits. Her loss leaves such a huge void in our lives, one that can only be filled with her memories, her guidance and wisdom. Thank you Adele - for loving me, for accepting me, for teaching me and for being such an amazing example of a mother, friend, teacher and human. I love you.
